This was our second time staying at one of the properties on the Somerley Estate, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Park Cottage is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, spacious and cosy, and located on stunning grounds. It was exactly what our family of five was looking for, and a wonderful place to relax in the evenings after our days out in the New Forest. We even saw some deer on the grounds a couple of times, which was a real treat…

Firstly, the private estate on which the property is located, is absolutely idyllic. The property is situated in a clearing…offering complete privacy with no immediate neighbours, something we value highly when booking our getaways….The house itself is beautifully finished and although is obviously newly refurbished, it still manages to retain country home charm. Although large with spacious rooms with high ceilings, the house has a very warm and homely feel to it. The kitchen is well equipped, showers are huge with great water pressure. Although there’s nothing like your own bed, the mattresses and bedding left us wanting to get home and upgrade! Cannot stress enough how lovely this place is.’
